I'd like to posit the following idea if I may:

Family entertainment does not forgive pushing deviant agendas.

You know, I really want to go see the new Narnia movie. I really would like to see it on the big screen. I'm not planning to, however. I've come to the conclusion that the only way Hollywood will learn is to mete out punishment to the entire clique for their excesses. I've had it with their cynical game of giving us family entertainment with the one hand while pushing deviant agendas with the other, and denying that they're doing it. The people who make movies aren't strangers to one another, they know full well what game they're playing, and perhaps it's time to make them all cry when they pull this garbage. Maybe when the Disney people start screaming in panic at the people pushing this stuff to knock it off will some good finally come. To H*ll with them all.

Please take your family to see Narnia. If we're ever going to change the product they send out to us we must support worthy entertainment when it comes. This is a beautiful movie that is well told and deserves our support.

If this movie and others like it fail then we can expect another generation of Gay Mutton Busters singin' Happy Trails while packing fudge at sunset. Barf.

I, too, was looking forward to seeing Narnia in the theater. I took my family to see King Kong, which is rated PG-13. The advertisements before the movie trailers were nothing short of soft porn. Among the R rated trailers was one dealing with a fantasy room of killing someone anyway you wish. The pictures were graphic and horrifying.

I told the theatre manager on the way out that one of the reasons attendance is down is because of the trash you show prior to the movies and that I would wait for the DVD of any movie before returning to his theatre.

His responce, of course, is that he had no control over the trailers. We told him that they weren't even rated so that we could prepare ourselves. He then told me that they cut the rating part out so people wouldn't have to wait so long in their seats before the main feature started.
