Britt Hume for President (Vanity)

(a) Due to a serious lack of credible GOP candidates from normal political venues (b) Due to the missing "backbone" that many GOP politicians have demonstrated (eg recent Senate vote on Iraq)

(c) Due to his ability to ommunicate well and telegenic presence (awesome in a debate format)

(d) Due to his incisive intellect demonstated time and again for the many years we've seen him on FNC

. . . he'd make a far better candidate for the Republican party than any of the others prominently mentioned

He would make a great President or Sec. of State.

We know Britt would at the very least be better than the Georgia peanut-ted farmer or the lech from Arkansas. I would vote for him over any RAT, independent, or RINO.

Fantasyland. Never happen.

In an ideal world, Ann Coulter would be President and Rush Limbaugh her Veep. However, media figures don't make good political candidates.

In addition, Hume would have the DU Moonbats digging up whatever dirt they could over this family tragedy.

One thing is for sure, he is always quick to correct spin during a debate, and unlike others, he does it in a way that makes the spinner immediately cease and there is no chance for them to go off on a tangent. All without screaming and borderline tantrums.

One of my favorite talking heads.

Heck, as long as he isn't drinking Ted Kennedy's stuff, I'm fine with it.

I vote for Scotch drinkers as long as I know they like the good stuff.
