Okay, everyone, I have a question about the Patriot Act: if it's so horrible, if it's such a threat to our liberties, where are all the stories about people who have had their civil liberties so egregiously violated? I haven't seen a single story. Even the New York Times hasn't been able to make up a single story about it. Can somebody help me out here?
I have not put any effort into finding the text of the act as it is now written, and I think it is probably still being negotiated. What worries me is that nothing is beng said of this aspect on talk radio or FNC, except a general reference to "library and business records". I've been checking the GOA website and they don't have any updates since last week.
I wasw wrong in that the business records provision has been in the Patriot Act all along. It's still a provision that needs more restriction, espically in the gathering of firearms records indiscriminately.
