2)  "What was going on at the time?" (Top movies, favorite song(s), price of gas, etc.)
3)  "What happened on that day in history?"

To help you out, visit This Day in History (you can choose a specific category), dMarie Time Capsule (sign-up dates of 2001 and earlier only) or FamousDays.com.  Feel free to post your results!!!

That can be a matter of opinion I guess.Living in an old house can be challenging sometimes as they tend to be jigsaw puzzles where the pieces don`t always fit together just right.

My idea of heaven is a lovely cabin in the woods (I suppose that's a common dream). The trouble is: WORK would not be commute away.

If you look from one room to another you would think it was a funhouse at a fair.It seems that ceilings and floors run opposite to each other as well as to the room on either side.

I really don`t know. The salt box half I would guess would be 1820-1850.The taller half is newer. My father thought that was built 1880-90.

He moved from his "home farm" to there in 1934,I think.

This will let you watch with Windows Media Player.

By the way, I use QuickTime Alternative. It does the same thing without all of the add-on garbage.
