Burke Excommunicates St Stan Board

The St. Louis archbishop informed the six board members of the parish that the priest they hired is also excommunicated from the Catholic church.

Looks like the Archbishop isn't in a Christmas mood.

Two weeks ago the board hired the Rev. Marek Bozek, a priest from Springfield, Mo., to be their pastor. Bozek was suspended by Bishop John J. Leibrecht, the leader of the Springfield Cape-Girardeau diocese.

Father Bozek is like 30, right? What did he expect to accomplish?

All this in a diocese which cedes large portions of the south Metro area to the Muslims, rather than evangelizing them for Christ.
