ice storms - we get the nasty stuff tonight......I will put on a Christmas movie and clean house when the storm hits. I have my studded snow tires on the front and back - but I'm not testing them out.

i can't understand why there are those that feel that providing one's child with the wonder of
Santa Claus and his reindeer, coming amidst the chatoyant snow, is such a horrible trust-shattering thing. but that's just me : )

my older ones delighted in learning the truth, they were now grown up and they kept the tradition alive for the younger ones.........Santa Claus is a legend. Anyone who carries this "scar" is nuts.

i literally had never encountered anyone in real life, holding the opinions of some on that thread. it is an individual thing, of course, but losing trust in one's parent bc santa isn't real? what sort of relationship do they have with their child that something like that would have such a profound effect?

It's called Atlantic Books. I discovered on on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City about 15 years ago.........then one opened on the Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, and then a huge warehouse sized one openned in Dover.
This one is in Salisbury and is about the size of a WalMart!!!!
