Why don't they drive through rural Appalachia? I guess the aesthetic value is lost on a run down coal company house while the family's car sets broken down in the front yard. A lecture on the greatness of sitting beside someone for a day who will not live to see 60, but has a really neat robe, looks prettier on screen.

I always liked Drew Barrymore despite her liberalism because she's cute, but her absolute worldview brainlessness and hypocrisy will make me avoid her movies from now on (Diaz has been on my "do not watch" list for a long time)
