Mora optimistic Vick will play vs. Bears Associated Press
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Atlanta Falcons coach Jim Mora remained optimistic Tuesday that the bruised ribs quarterback Michael Vick suffered Monday night will not keep him out of Sunday's game at Chicago.

Mora said Vick should play against the Bears, even if he is held out of most of this week's practice schedule.
"Mike is typically a fast healer," Mora said Tuesday. "At this point in the season, he's basically seen everything he's going to see and practiced everything he needs to practice. I think he could get mental reps and still perform fine. The key is to get him as healthy as possible for Sunday night."
Vick said he suffered the injury in the Falcons' 36-17 win over the New Orleans Saints when he tackled Jason Craft following Craft's second-quarter interception.
"I landed on the guy's foot and right on my ribs," Vick said.
After taking several hits, Vick left the game midway through the fourth quarter.
"I took the last shot and kind of fell on it and aggravated it a little bit, but I'm all right," Vick said after the game.
Mora said with "the stakes being what they are," there are no current plans to hold Vick out this week.
Vick said he is "very confident" he will play this week.
Yeah, that should be an interesting game. Since my Rams are out, I'm kinda cheering for Da Bears.
Atlanta is going to be frozen out. First at Soldier Field then of the playoffs. Vick will land on that rock hard turf and his passing ability will become even worse than usual. If the Bears defense shows up the Falcons won't have a chance. It should be ready after taking a game off.
Looks like it is going to be in the teens come game time. I just hope my feet survive.
Well, last week in Pittsburgh was rough. But, a dome team in Chicago, in December, at night...whose QB already has sore ribs?
I hope the Bears offense decides to show up and score some more field goals...

Regards,
Atlanta has the best rushing game in the league so I think it will still be a problem even in the cold. I would imagine that it will try and keep Vick from passing much and make sure that he is protected with quick throws, roll outs and lots of running. They may have some problems holding on to the ball though and it so I would thing the Bears will win.
Looks like the temperature is expected to be around twenty. While I know the colder it gets the worse for the Falcons but also the worse for my feet.
Have fun! Stay warm...
Regards,
My buddy and I will go to a Mexican restraunt on 18th have some great food and tequila and fortify ourselves before the game.
