Where to Buy Christian Christmas Gift Wrap?
Posted on 12/11/2005 3:45:50 PM PST by Tangerine Time Machine
Each year it gets harder and harder to locate Christmas wrapping paper with a Christian theme. You know, the designs we used to take for granted: Babe in a Manger, the Three Wise Men, Peace on Earth, etc.
I thought it would be useful to pool our resources as to what is available out there in stores and on the Web.
After a few hours on Google, I've found two designs that fit the bill:
Jeweled Peace
We Three Kings
Clearly my Google-foo skills are deficient. Anyone else have some good sources?

It really is something, isnt it?...and it erupted into something really unexpected...

That's what I like about FR. You can always expect the unexpected.

but you made a point of making it be a standout type post that really can't be ignored. That is what I consider to be mean.
Got it. Thanks for clarifying.

Thanks for the info.......will check it out.
My nativity is small, and the 6inch shelf I have in that window passage is actually the perfect size for it. Since the shelf is removable, I'm starting to think that building a new shelf, complete with attached manager would be the best way for me to go.

You want to hear something funny? The best place to buy beautiful menorahs in my town is the local Christian Bookstore. Go figure.
I'm a very proud Christian myself, but I think parts of this anti-anti-Christmas thing are a little hysterical.
Perhaps it's just where I live, and how I live, but I honestly believe you find what you are looking for.
For instance, my tendency was to bemoan the lack of religious based Christmas greetings on TV shows. but then I actually started paying attention and was pleasantly surprised. Many shows still play traditional religious Christmas Carols in their Holiday episodes. In fact, I watched Monk this weekend and it in no way shied away from the whole Christmas thing. I hate "victimhood-trolling" where ever it is found.
Anyway, Happy Hanukkah, blessings to you and yoursand the best in the coming year.

Even a foot high is WAY too big for my figurines........the tallest is only 3inches.
I hope you find your baby :^)

Can't speak for chalkfarmer, but out of curiosity did a google search. Petco does have an item wrapped in a "Hanukkah Box." Hildy was asking where she could find gifts wrapped this way.
To: Gabz
I'm thinking about taking it back tomorrow and just getting the really small one with the complete set. When I find all my pieces I'll have two.

It isn't really important to me or my family.
Why go through the hassle for something that will spend much of the day on the floor of whatever room we happen to open presents in?
Besides which, most of the presents I have this year are for mine and my wife's younger cousins, who probably won't notice either way :-)
It's dollar store for me....

Thanks so much for the link...I should have thought to do that myself, so many thanks for doing the work for me(I can be quite lazy)...as you said, we cannot speak for chalkfarmer, but the paper on the Petco website, wrapping the gift, was lovely paper...
Thanks again for that, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you....
To: Hildy
: ), thanks.
You know, now that I read the whole thread I am reminded that things can go horribly awry in a hurry when we can't look each other in the eye.
Sheesh. I'm sorry.
Since posting, I've learned to read every response with a sort of "legally blonde" sort of voice in my head. It's easier on my blood pressure. LOL.
