Uh - yeah - if it's a register list I think that's how it works. You should get called for any opening. Our state jobs here are that way.

Call the temp agency and say you just need something. They do get calls for misc. clerical assignments I'm sure. Heck. I folded form letters and stuffed envelopes once for an assignment. Anything would do ya good till the phone rings.

Called one temp place...they said they didn't have anything, but would keep my name in mind.

There are others I can call, I guess. But apparently even for minimum wage data entry jobs, you hafta come in for a test. Since I've never used a cash register or ten key, I dunno how I'd do. But I said I'd do pretty much anything, so long as it was temporary and I had the skills to do it. So we'll see.
