Or jealous wanna-bes, ;-)
Well...to be fair, it's more Enya-like than traditional Celtic stuff...if there *is* truly such a thing as traditional. I personally like both types of music, but there are plenty who see anything that uses reverb and non-acoustic instruments as horrific.
So the guy last night with the electric bouzouki mandolin probably wouldn't 'av done it for 'em either?
Probably not...
There was an electric bouzouki? Want!
Back to listening to Live365...but still looking for that album.
Don't know why...I already got my Christmas present.
Yah, the Steve Kimock group... Steve played electric guitar, steel guitar, electric ukelele, and electric bouzouki.
It looked sorta like this:

Kewl. My brother had a bouzouki until recently - had to sell it to pay the rent. I bought it for him, actually. *sigh*
I wonder if they make solid body bouzoukis? They do mandos...though they generally only have four strings insteada the pairs. Like this:

Admittedly, not having to lug around an amp is a hugh plus...and my current mando has a pick-up, so I CAN plug in if I need to. I have in the past. But it'd be awful fun to play around with one of those and a bunch of effects pedals...
I'm off to bed, folks. See you in the morning!
(((Hobbit Hole)))
Nite nite! {{{Rutheeee}}}
She's singing again! Anita Haigh
'Night, sis!
It must rotate the tunes from a set point...I don't have the same as you do.
I'll keep an eye out for her name, though!
Goodnight, Ruthy! Sweet dreams!
Yeah..
Twila Paris is fixin' to sing now...
I'm gonna have to check out the rest of the stuff on live365...they must have a ton of interesting "stations"!
So far Mr. Beepy is being quiet...but the night is young. If it gets loud, I guess I'm calling maintenance. I really don't want to, though. Seems unfair that I have to get someone out of bed on account of an idiot. I realize that would make it the idiots fault rather than my own, but still...
I hope he's quiet tonight!
I'm logging off...Steve'll be home with the jedis soon.
Night all!
Good night!
