Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Home is behind, the world ahead
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Way to go, Karma!

Just make sure the dresses are comfortable and in a pretty shade and you'll be fine.
(i.e. No electric-blue, strapless numbers)

But, I didn't go this morning. And if I went tonight I could sleep in. I have a four day weekend. (God bless Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson)

Ya know, I'm beginning to think your Netflix conspiracy ideas are right. We aren't getting them as fast as we did at first. Even sending two back at once, we'll get the replacements one at a time.
I'm peeved, but it's still better than the local service, I guess.

Be glad you missed the next bit. He had a ... ummm ... mishap? ... in the men's room.
And he just unleashed a hilariously self-centered rant about his "disability" ...

I mailed three 24 discs back on Monday. Got three back today. I'm about a day slower. But I'm "new" again...

A sitcome. Similar to Office Space, I'm told.
The guy from "The 40-Year Old Virgin" is in it. Same guy who played the weatherguy in that "Ron Burgundy: Anchorman" movie.

We used to be able to mail stuff one day and receive the replacements two days later - one day to get there and one day for the new ones to get to us.
I suppose it *could* just be continuing slowness due to the holidays, but I kinda doubt it.
Listening to
this. Yes, it's rather strange and silly...but I like it anyhow.
Oompa Loompa done Harry Connick Jr. style swings! ;-)
