Home is behind, the world ahead

Upon the hearth the fire is red,

Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone

Tree and flower and leaf and grass,

And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,

Still haven't even driven it yet. Ran out of time to do it today, and don't want to do it after work during rush hour in the dark.
