Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Home is behind, the world ahead
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

If you saw a woman walking around cooing and cradling a coconut.Years ago we had some pet guinea pigs -- Mrs. Sulla was particularly fond of one which she would put in her purse, with a collar and leash, and take it around with her in public, showing him to folks we'd meet. His name was 'Bucky'!

You could always take two...

Well, that's not nuts, guinea pigs are awful cute, funny little critters. I love the noises they make.

Heh heh!
I have to get up at 2:30am to get to the command center in time to fix breakfast so I am going to bed now. I probably won't check in again till Sunday, when I hope to post pictures.
It's not New Orleans, it's home..
Good night all.

You could say the same thing about coconuts, except for the noises part! Corin's look kind of cute!

I think if you're real confident about it, you can pull off near anything :~D
People don't want to make waves with a potential nut ;~D.

What do you need coconuts for anyway? You've already got horses...

I'm signing off, but afore I do, would appreciate it if you could keep wife's oldest sister in your prayers (not the one who was here for Christmas).
She's in the hospital with what they ~think~ is pneumonia, but there's some indication that the x-rays don't ~look~ like pneumonia and therefore ~could be~ tumors.
Nana only knows the pneumonia part, not the other. And, I have to factor in the family 50% rule (what we get is usually 50% worse than the actual diagnosis).
Still, this sister is in the poorest health of all (almost as bad as Nana) and she's grossly overweight.
Enough details. If you're sending a message upstairs, an extra one for Ann would be appreciated.
I should know more tomorrow.
g'nite

Heck, I wouldn't want anyone to say that I have potential -- I would want to have my mental state fully recognized!
To: Corin Stormhands
The Longhorns need all the help they can get tonight!
To: Corin Stormhands
Sure enough Corin... Will send up some prayers for the whole family just to be on the safe side, but particularly for Ann.

Works for Corin. :~D
