FWIW, I was hired back in the 70's to pull the Miami Herald float with my old K 5 Blazer in the Orange Bowl Parade. I kept it in 4WD low range on the streets of Miami for the entire parade with no ill effect. I know you are not supposed to be able to do this, but it seemed to work OK.
Sam, so sorry to hear about Jeanne's condition but glad to hear that she is recuperating at the farm under your care. Prayers for healing and comfort. OB & LSA
