I battled quite a few of his type on-thread and face to face. One guy spat in my face when I went to protest the re-re-re-count in Palm Beach.
H spat in my face and said "Go back to Puerto Rico, you stupid Puerto Rican."
I laughed myself silly right in his face. I hadn't been speaking Spanish or talking about my heritage with anyone. He just looked at me and decided I was Puerto Rican. He was half right, but I've never ~been~ to Puerto Rico so how could I go back there? *grin*
Those kinds don't scare me a bit. They hate me because of the way I look. Nothing more.

LSA, I just checked the Canyon Cafe website, and they have that Poblano Chicken Chowder, so it could be the same place. Looks like there are only 6 of them and one is in St. Louis. Maybe the KC folks didn't like the Tex-Mex or Canyon Mex? We love the place, so do the kids. We offered Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse as a possibility, too, but they chose the Cafe. I think that talking Moose at Bugaboo Creek gives them the willies! ;o)

I've decided (rather late in the evening) that maybe I shouldn't go through a whole day without actually eating any *real* food, so I'm makin' a crustless quiche sorta thing. Going to maybe watch another movie - just finished "Rope". Another Hitchcock movie I can say I've seen, though this one kinda gave me the willies.
