Yeah, overcharge was the wrong word to use. I was trying to convey more of "most expensive but not necessarily the best" rather than what overcharge brings which is the idea that they're gouging.
Agreed about linux only macs. You can buy these machines without MacOS ever even touching the drive to my knowledge.
