Thanks for the response... To the guy that said he received it in '96... snopes says "2004"... maybe both are being honest..

I recall a new clip that showed a car made to thwart car jackers...

If I'm correct it was made for South Africa... Anyhow, it would release fire and flames on the driver side door if a car jacker approached.

I don't think it made it on the market because it was considered inhumane.
