Scenes From a Marriage... |
"Too young" at 28 ... I just don't get that. I was married at 22, and had two children by 28.
Yup - the cousin made this "too young to even discuss marriage at 28" comment to my wife when my wife was also 28, despite the fact my wife had married me three years prior to the conversation.
Screw Federline and Spears....I feel for the kids in having to fight and overcome the idiocy of their parents for the rest of their lives.....
It's part of what you and I have talked about before. There are a lot of people out there in a state of semi-permanent adolescence; I have one in my own family, a woman who's your age but sometimes acts about 17. It's part of the consequence of kids being materially spoiled, IMO. They never learn to function as adults.
Add on to that the feminist ideology that views marriage almost as an admission of failure, and you have people who can come up with the cockeyed idea that 28 is "too young" to get married.
So true.
That only applies in some cases.
there are plenty of people who are perpetual adolescents who grew up in straitened circumstances.
It's more a matter of parents simply not setting behavioral limits.
Also, most of what the media presents as "being a man" has almost nothing to do with manhood.
LOL! Maybe I was too young at 22, but a couple of kids and a couple of jobs helps a person to mature.
If Kevin Federline was such a great dad, he would have married the mother of his children. He's a gigolo, imo.
You cannot sue a spouse of a parent who owes child support.
Shar needs to cut her losses, because Kevin is getting too fat and lazy to do back up dancing. He just doesn't want to work. My bf could teach him the art of bodywork(vehicles), but I don't think the guy could cut it.
Maybe Shar will find a good, decent man, who will be the father figure those babies desperately need.
Your stories remind me of my best friend from high school. She's a loser magnet. She is so beautiful and intelligent. Her dad and she started a business, and she is very successful. The crap she goes out with made me reevaluate our friendship. She doesn't have kids, but I do. I have to maintain a higher standard. Sorry if that sounds snarky, but no way would my kids see mommy have a parade of one night stands walking through the front door.
-What comes around, goes around.
It's very unfortunate. Of course, there are good men going out with trashy women, too.
And Brit was desperate. Rebounding from Timberlake set her up for a big fall.
