Coast Guard buoy tender. We worked buoys and fueled lighthouse from the north shore of Cape Cod to the Canadian border. The work had to get done, so weather wasn't much of a factor unless we were expected to get really really high seas. It was a round bottom boat, so every little wave made the thing rock. i worked in the engine room, and all the other engineers were really susceptible to seasickness, so i got stuck with the worst watches.
