"The undercover officer gave Booth some nonfunctioning handguns, bought ammunition for her because she was too young, and the two proceeded to the home under police surveillance"
Another scenario:
The men, fearing great bodily harm, pulled their own weapons and killed Ms. Booth. ;-)
Was were the cops thinking? How did they know the men were unarmed?

I read another version of this story yesterday, apparently the cops had already contacted the "victims" and served a search warrant on the house before they set up the "hit" and the "victims" were in on it. But still, what was the reason for giving her a gun?? Seems pretty stupid to me too, She completed the crime when she hired them to do the hit, why add risk to it? I don't see how that helps the case against her. I'm guessing the most action these cops probably ever see is when they are watching "COPS" or "Real Stories of the Highway Patrol". I would also bet that the block of cheese was probably what they convinced the cops she saw and they had already got rid of the cocaine before the cops got there.
