Yes. I'm asking if someone on here got the hotfix first from Microsoft's techs. Its not listed on the website and I think its a beta driver. It promises to fix though, the issue of Windows not finding my USB 2.0 hub when I plug it into my high speed USB port.

Is this a recent problem? I have two high-speed hubs; one on a newer XP machine with a high-speed USB port built in, and one on an older computer with a high-speed USB add-on card. I also have a high-speed USB KVM switch.Both machines are Dells, and the hubs (which I've had about 2 years) are Belkin.

Occasionally, the USB hub malfunctions -- more often on the older machine, but a cold reboot eventually fixes the problem. It seems to me the problem started when I bought an new HP multi-function.

It's not an everyday problem, though -- it usually follows the Murphy's law of computers; the more important the stuff you're working on, the more likely the computer is to malfunction.
