lol - I know what you mean, but my problem is with the editor-in-my-head.

He doesn't always catch me in time. There have been a few that I worried were going to me suspended ;-)

I place in nomination the following keyword as best of 2005 :

I misplaced a space once.
When I re-read everything, it looked fine to me.
I hit post.

Then saw the typo.
I frantically begged the mods to remove my post.
Instead, a bunch of people miraculously show up to see my typo, and they all start LAUGHING about it.
Took me about a year to live it down.
The space ws misplaced between words "about" and "it", truncating the word "about" to "abou".


And since then, my typos have gotten far worse.
Like 'teh', 'mroe', 'epopel', 'ganags', and various other typos..

If you typo bad enough, you get lumped in with me.
And get told that you've caught the typo virus.
Quite bad actually..

Funny part is, the original word was supposed to be 'gangs'.
But said in your post, it sounds massively painful.

Originally, no.
But once it made peopel laugh, I gave up trying to type it right as I'd end up making more typos.
Like typing the word fountain.
I came out with fountai.
And I used it in a sentence as "I am the Fountai of Bad Ideas".

So pretty much I'm doomed typo wise.

Darks instructions don't really work if you happen to be posting to or about him.....it seems he can manipulate typos regardless of the precautions you might take! (and the longer you talk to darks....the more likely you will be inflicted with the typo virus. :)

There was a group of us who used to talk about yelling at the tv during the 2000 elections. Key phrase we all yelled:

Yes, there is that little minor catch.
Also, if I am lurking in thread, some people will typo merely due to my invisible presence in thread.
Quite horrible actually.

Usually there will then be a bunch of posts yelling at me for lurking.
