So this entitles her to a free pass? Her DRUNK son did it to himself. Why not expect her to tell the truth about her son's idiotic actions, instead of blaming a gun?

McCoy-Horn wants to see pen guns outlawed. She said several schools have expressed interest in having her come to speak out against the weapons. And she would also like to take her message to the Legislature. "I've cried and cried so much, but I'm mad now," McCoy-Horn said. "Something's got to be done."

I'd like to see incompetent parents outlawed, so we wouldn't have 22 year olds who are so stupid as to put a loaded gun to their head and pull their trigger, when they aren't intending to kill themselves. Mommy is refusing to take responsibility for the lousy job she did raising her son, and wants to deflect attention from that by campaigning for a new anti-gun law.

Perhaps one day she'll realize it was her son's fault, not the gun, but give her time.
