Hmmmmm..... could be.

I swear - when I hear guys complaining that their woman asks them how the are doing and what they are thinking it makes me crazy. Would you prefer that she ignore you?

Shut up and be happy that someone cares enough about you to CARE what you're thinking!

I don't mind so much that she asks. I do wish that when I give the honest reply "Nothing," I would be taken seriously. All too often the ensuing discussion turns into a subtle power game, the rules of which I don't really understand, and which wearies me.

When my now-60-year-old widowed neighbor was a young bride, one of her aunts gave her this advice: "You can keep a messy house; you can burn the food; but as long as you respect him and jump his bones from time to time, he'll never leave."

That's the formula, ladies. That's the secret to men.

Valid point, but it's all about the timing. It's amazing how important stuff can be with 2 laps left in a great race. Most of the time, I'm up for any kind of discussion, but let me see theend of the race, please. If it's really important, it can wait 2 minutes, unless it's the dog on fire again.
