I hope he wasn't planing on law school down the road. This felony conviction will impact him in ways he still cannot fathom.

He wont' get convicted of a felony.

He'll probably manage to plead it down to a misdemeanor and get a suspended sentence.

Heck, lots of people write bad checks, and not many of them end up with a felony conviction (it's still forgery).
