That's what we got, and Aussie Shepherd. Sweetest dog I've ever seen. Now if I could only stop her from trying to lick me in the face. I don't like it, but my daughter loves it.

I had an australian cattledog (queensland) once. I love that type of dog, they are awesome. However, the one I picked, seemed to be the cocaine dog of the litter. It was so ultimately hyper and obnoxious and we just didn't have the room or the energy for her, so we had to give her up. She tore up our carpet among other things and we had to keep her in a crate most of the time. Poor thing. I'm sure with the right home, with lots of yard and probably other animals to chase, she would have been a great dog.

Most cattle dogs need lots of room to roam and lots of attention. My brother had 2 and spend a lot of time training them. Boy they are smart. One of his dogs passed, but the other one is smart as a whip and I love watching her go tricks, even ones given just by hand. So smart. I tear up when my brother shows me what she can do. Awesome, beautiful dogs.
