Wow, similar thing happend to me last deer season, except rather than leaving him on the road, I gutted him and was slow roasting him on a spit... oh, and it was my father in law too.  We still laugh about it... except for my mother in law.  And my wife.   And her sister, and the kids that is.

I'm a big fan of organ meats too, but in humans, it gets a little gamey... or so I've been told.

Apparently the buzzards come here in the fall and winter months. A short trip to the beach this weekend for the day rendered a small buck down to nothing in 8 hours.
