At least he wasn't mistaken as a live deer.

"Pennsylvania police said a man who died after being struck by a vehicle may have been left on a roadside for days because his body was apparently mistaken for a dead deer"
Being left on a roadside dead for days here in Florida would only render bones. The turkey buzzards would feast within hours. Must be too cold for scavengers in PA.
Poor man.

Can you imagine driving down the road and thinking, hey why was that deer wearing shoes?

Grandpa got run over by a John Deere, coming home from our house Christmas eve...
To: poobear
There are turkey buzzards up here in the north, but the cold in winter keeps their numbers down.

If they bury me in shoes I will haunt them. I hate to wear shoes. I would be barefoot all the time if I could.
But, alas it is too cold not to wear shoes now.
