OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The editor of a community college newspaper is being criticized because of a front-page photo and headline, Kansas City, Mo., television station KMBC reported.
The Nov. 16 issue of the Johnson County (Kan.) Community College newspaper featured two female soccer players showing their sports bras. The headline read, "Goals Gone Wild," and a photo caption said there were four good reasons to support the team.
Carl Heinrich, the school's athletic director, said he was shocked when he heard about the paper.
"I don't think it portrays the image of what our athletes are," Heinrich said.
"What we believe is appropriate or inappropriate is up to everybody's interpretation," said Joshua Seiden, the paper's editor in chief.
Seiden said the ladies in the picture saw the photo before it was printed and that neither of the women have complained to him about it.
Well, I can't say that gives me a stroke. I don't look at sports bras as the same as regular bras.
"Bitches, man, I had a spot for them ho's on the cover of my next Girls Gone Wild: Doggy Style video."
lol...
Ive been admiring the female form for many years. I intend to admire the female form for many years to come. The only people that seem to have a problem with that are homely women, faggy men, and my wife.
ROTFL
Guess who the players in their posters were?

Another reason why I don't understand soccer. You don't see David Ortiz start stripping as he rounds the bases after hitting a game-winning home run, or Adam Vinateri after he kicks the super bowl-winning field goal. Is it just that soccer is so boring that the only way to make is more exciting is to show off some skin?
Has anyone given any thought to the fact that this picture may have been taken out of context? It wouldn't be the first time a reporter said they were going to write a story on one thing and then switch to something more controversial. I'll admit, it wasn't the smartest move to pull their jerseys up to show off their sports bras, but if they were really trying to imitate "Girls Gone Wild" videos, they wouldn't have been wearing the sports bras. To the person who suggested MAXIM and NATIONAL LAMPOON- you obviously don't get it. A girl in MAXIM wouldn't be wearing this much clothing and NATIONAL LAMPOON is a comedic spoof magazine where this would be funny, as the editor of the paper probably thought. Who's the real person out here trying to gain attention? The papers editor. Hello, he's the editor of a community college paper who may or may not go on to anything bigger. He wants his 15 minutes of fame...but he only got 30 seconds on the local news. Way to go buddy! But hey, I guess if this is the most interesting thing going on in the world, well then...
