Been here too long to be a troll man... I seriously think the lyrics in their music sucks. My opinion, nothing more. Who sings about trees? Who sings about being cool or being cast out? Rush does...or did. listen to the words of their songs...you'd think you were at a DNC convention...

As a drummer wannabe for years, Neil Pert(sp?) was my hero... But now that I am seasoned, I look back and think it ashame that they did not go in another direction with their words.

I agree that there lyrics are a little out there and a little too preachy to the Dungeon and Dragons crowd but their music is pretty tight.

In concert they are very tight but their problem with live performances is that it sounds just like the record without much deviation or ad libbing. But the quality of the music is way up there, especially for Rock.
