If you want a simple PDF reader that doesnt take 500 years to load like Acrobat get foxit. It works great opens pdf files very fast. I have yet to find something better. Works great with firefox.

You may be using Acrobat 6. That was buggy.

Right on. That is the only thing I dislike about Firefox - PDF files. It drives me batty. In fact, it just happened again yesterday to me.... I've been waiting on a fix, but I haven't found one.

I guess I'll have to go another route...

If you're using Acrobat Reader 6.0, upgrade it to 7.0. You'll notice a huge difference. There was something about Reader 6.0 and Firefox - they just didn't get along with one another.
