i thought of you girls last night and our past discussions. i am reading this book about the decline of civility in daily discourse and the lack of manners. the book is hilarious, laugh out loud funny, i highly recommend it to you all

I must get my mitts on that! I have Ms. Truss's "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" - a grammar book I'd recommend to the most grammar-phobic among us. She's the only grammarian who makes me laugh out loud while I'm reading her.
You just gotta love a woman who'd stand outside a movie theater, holding a broom handle with a large plastic apostrophe on it, and putting the apostrophe in places it was incorrectly omitted from movie titles.
