It is NOT a classic. It's a cartoon movie....a recent one, at that.

The lyrics are terrible but it is one of the coolest riffs ever. And the way my mind works, I end up hearing "Lost in Hollywood"

I empathize, to a point, Houds of the Baskervilles:
Having once pulled security for a Tech Convention in DC ages ago. I was subjected to hours and hours of Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer" from "The Sting". The roar of the applause from the conventioneers and others was deafening as it finally shut off.
Given that as a bottom base-line. Speakered Rock & Roll is entirely bearable. Even moreso than Muzak, Elevator or Dentist's Office Music.
Jack.

I don't know how people stand working at Abercrombie and Fitch. I don't really like their clothes but I can't hardly go in there anymore because I hate that throbbing dance music they play.
I also really hate rap. That stuff gets on my nerves. Which is why the $2 pitcher night at the local bar is way better than the $5 all you can drink night, they play country and rock on the pitcher night.
I think the reason people like rock and especially the rock you are talking about is even though some people who listen to it (myself included) weren't alive when it came out it still gives you that feeling of rebellion. Maybe you don't like it because your too conservative for your own good? :)

sharky.....apparently, "Finding Nemo" was written by a man born in 1958. His writings could hardly be considered classic literature. Now, 'splain to me how it's a classic?
To: EsmeraldaA; Lakeshark
lol....I guess I was thinking of Fabian. : )

Dentist's Office Music Jack?!? LOL!
To: EsmeraldaA; nicmarlo
Nemo takes place in a Dentist's office.........
A classic for sure.
