FRIED ZEPPOLE
Come mangiare uno zeppole.( Easy as 1-2-3)1) Mix into a soft batter.
- 2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. yeast (dissolved in 1 c. warm water)
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
2) Let rise for 2 hours.
3) Fry in deep oil.
Dust with confectioner's sugar.
oh this is great! a fried dough recipe. my italian husband LOVED his mom's fried dough, but she is gone now and i had no idea how to make it (being of eastern european extraction, myself). i am going to make this as a surprise for him. THANK YOU!
