Pogo has both free and membership games.

they have all kinds of games - sports, arcade, casino, puzzle, word........

The membership is $5 a month, I think. It's an affiliate of EA.com and I've been playing Pogo for 3 years. I found it through the games I play on iWon.com.

Odd, I used to frequent a chat room years ago on Iwon.com ... But it got so bad with hackers I gave it up. You wouldn't perchance of been a regular of the old chat there would ya? Just a hunch...

Wow, Bacon actually conquered Morrowind... I am a level three something (mostly healer)... I have just bought the levatation spell and I'm into all kinds of trouble now. I can't figure out how to use the paper spells yet (maybe I have to have more magic power to cast them??).

Anyhoo, I am still in the learning slow stage... But having fun..

What is the best spells to get for under 2000? Just wondering... Right now I only have 97 magica, so I can't do any super things yet.

Downloaded and installed tonight...looks like it is mostly to enable the expansion pack "Special Forces". More $$ for EA! ;-) Patch didn't kill my BF2 install. Bad part is that a lot of the servers on the list now are "Special Forces" exp. pack only.

I'm sure he just hasn't gotten around to it yet.
He IS considering dropping that server because nobody plays on it. He wants to give me admin access so I can help him get it rolling. If we don't use it, we'll lose it.
Maybe we should start meeting there regularly at a specific time, just so we can help get it primed on a regular basis.

I downloaded the patch while at relatives. Guess I will install. Did you notice that after you install SF you have to install the update again? Hope you all saved it.

I don't have SF yet, not sure i'll get it, but yeah... I noticed in the release notes that you have to re-apply the update if you dont install SF first.

Oh I wish I could remember, that was like two years ago I think. What are some choices? I do remember enjoying jump quite a bit, especially when made into an enchanted item. A low power jump spell can make traveling much faster and a really powerful one makes it possible to leap enormous distances, like over mountain ranges and farther (landing can be harsh).
I don't remember how to use the paper spells. All the time I spent in that game and I can't believe I don't remember that. I believe Xenalyte is currently playing it again though or at least she was not that long ago. I'll bet she knows.

The spells I use the most are Mark and Recall.

I don't know if you've ever used a mod (a modifier file) with a game. Morrowind was the first game I tried mods in, and MultiMark is absolutely invaluable.

Mark lets you mark a spot, and Recall lets you recall yourself to that spot. The game's version of Mark lets you mark one spot . . . MultiMark lets you mark 12.

Go here, search by title for "mark", and you'll find one called "Multiple Teleport Marking Mod". Download it, unzip it to your Morrowind data files folder (if you used the default, it'll be "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files"), start the game, and say OK to the messages you'll see (you only get them once).

I'm also an alchemy buff - I make my own potions. The ingredients you find or gather are often all you need to make potions, besides a mortar and pestle (available at the pawnbroker in Balmora).
