At the Washington Arms Collectors gun shows here in WA state, they now require all weapons be unloaded and semi-autos be zip-tied open. This after a couple of morons touched off a couple rounds "accidentally" (read: stupidly) during shows. It was an insurance thing more so than an anti-gun thing. They were not going to be able to get insurance, thus not allowed to have the shows any more because of the stupid actions of a few.
And these are supposed to be the people who know how to handle weapons.........

My husband told me a few years ago that a gun was fired by accident in a gun show in Houston. He said he has never heard that many people get that quiet that quick. You could have heard a pin drop in that huge place. LOL

Same in Hampton, Virginia but I dont recall it ever having a similar incident.
