Daily dose of
Jayski, now that we're in turn 3 of Silly Season -
- Larry Foyt's 2006 plans fell through.
- Some more details on the AAA-Roush relationship - they have an exhibit with the car and a simulator at the Detroit auto show, and Mark Martin's made some PSAs.
- The Other Sadler will be running the #00 Aaron's Dream Machine in a limited Cup schedule (dunno if it's still Michael Waltrip Racing).
- According to DW, a 3-car Cup team with no crew chiefs (Evernham?) will be moving its shop to Indy.
And catching up on Busch from
BGNRacing.com, which has a new paint scheme due to a partnership with ppc Racing -
- Herm will have his own radio show on KMOX Fridays at 8 pm Central starting 2/17 (they do stream on the web, so even if the atmoshphere hasn't ionized enough to let you lisen to 1120 on your AM dial, or you're in the 6 states that nighttime signal doesn't reach, you can still listen). Rusty and other special guests will fill in when the Busch Series is running Friday nights.
- Long Gone's Busch plans fell through.
- Jay Robinson Racing appears to have parted ways with Steve Grissom, will run a limited schedule with the #49 and Advil. Driver to be named later pending sponsorship for the other 17 races.
- If Paul Tracy runs Busch next year, it probably won't be with the Biagi Brothers due to a lack of sponsor.
- Yellow Transportation is following Mini-Sauter to the Haas team (still unknown is whether they'll still use the #44 or #00).
- Latin American Racing, with driver Jorge Goeters, have aligned with Akins Motorsports (#38).
