- Roy Kenseth, promoter at Madison International Speedway, will be bringing his son Matt (2003 Winstion Cup champ) and Tony Stewart (2002 Winston Cup champ/2005 Nextel Cup champ) in for a special late-model event June 27.
- The first shoe from Dodge's virtual-pullout from the Trucks to drop - Jim Smith (owner of the champ #1 driven by Ted Musgrave and the #2 last driven by Mr. Excitement) will be switching to Fords.

GM and Ford are in a serious financial hurt. I believe there will be pressure put on them to curtail spending on some Racin sponsorship. Why did Chrysler back off in the trucks?
