The Mikey/Bradshaw show will be a thing to watch. It doesn't make sense to me...
Makes loads of sense. By driving a Dodge in Cup (even though it's unsupported by DaimlerChrysler), he can't really drive a Chevy anymore (or a Ford). Bill Davis doesn't run anything in Busch. Hooking up with Evernham, Penske (this includes Rusty's team), or Phoenix (the 3 Dodge teams with both Cup and Busch operations) is essentially out of the question (Dodge is a jealous manufacturer, and being associated with the "renegade" BDR taints Mikey). That leaves the Busch-only Dodge teams, and only 3 of those have at least 1 car with a guaranteed start for the first 5 races of 2006 (FitzBradshaw, Biagi Brothers and Glynn Motorsports), with FitzBradshaw is the only one with a multi-car operation. Even better from Mikey's point of view, one of those 3 cars was scheduled to not compete in 2006 due to lack of sponsorship and driver. With a transfer or owners' points to Mikey's team, instead of having to qualify his way in (something he hadn't been able to manage consistently), he'll have a guaranteed spot to start the season off.
