A hundred years ago, 14 was the legal age for marriage. Plus most kids were out of school and working by that age. And course, we have the example of Romeo and Juliet.

Now, I don't consider blogs to be news. Sometimes, they turn out to be, though. I would like to point out that nowhere in the charges so far .. is "statutory rape". I doubt if they did the rape kit thing on her upon her arrival "home" and the funerals.
Her mother had a twin sister. The logical person to raise these kids would be that twin. HOWEVER. If she can look at that girl over breakfast every morning, she's a MUCH better Christian than I.
