I used to crew on the Manatra, a decommissioned Coast Guard Cutter in Chicago. We were hired to be in the Blues Brothers Movie. At the beginning of the movie, as the car is coming down the bridge, you can see the Manatra through the bridge structure. Unfortuately, a freighter came through as they were filming the jump and they used that as the primary vessel they were jumping.

We did get to eat lunch with the movie crew and say Belushi and Ackroyd, but they didn't mingle with anyone.

I was on a plane once with Jesse Jackson. What a quandary. I really wanted the plane to crash but I was on it. It made me sick the way people were fawning all around him.

I met Gayle Sayers when I was about ten. He came to our park in Chicago and gave a clinic.

I have played tennis with the Jensen brothers, Rebecca Jensen, Sargis Sargisian and Martina Hingis came on a court where I was giving a clinic.

The clinic I would have liked to give her!!!!!
