Former WWE wrestling champion Eddie Guerrero died suddenly at the age of 38--after collapsing the morning before he was due to fight for the world title again.
Eddie was also set to perform in front of sellout crowds on a tour of Britain and Europe starting this week. The Latino star, real name Edwardo Guerrero, was found dead in his hotel room in Minneapolis.
He leaves a wife Vickie and three daughters, Shaul, 14, Sherilyn, 9, and Kaylie Marie, 3.
Eddie was in Minneapolis to take part in the main event of the WWE's Smackdown television show, where he was due to wrestle champion Batista and Randy Orton in a match for the world title.
With Batista recently suffering an injury, many expected Eddie to win the gold and add to an illustrious career that made him one of the best wrestlers of his generation.
The news was broken to distraught fans on the WWE website, which reported that everyone in the company was 'deeply saddened by the news.' A popular star, Eddie will be remembered for amazing matches with friends of his, including Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio and Olympic Gold medialist Kurt Angle.
He was also starting his life over again with his family and the WWE after almost self destructing on drink and drugs in 2001. After finding religion and staying clean, Eddie enjoyed a remarkable run as a headline star in the WWE--holding the world championship belt after beating Brock Lesnar in February 2004.
Family and friends started to worry about the star after a 7am wakeup call was not answered. Security then opened the door and Eddie was found dead in the bathroom. He is reported to have died with his toothbrush in his mouth.
Cause of death is currently unknown, although it is believe to be of heart failure.

What ever happened to Miss Elizabeth.
She died too not too long ago as well. Took the wrong bottle of pills in the bathroom cabinet, a tragic deal too.

The world doesn't revolve around Veteran's Day, btw.
Bug off.
Think before you post. He was most likely National Guard at some point in his life
Miss Elizabeth and her hubby Randy Savage split up years ago. Years later, she was dating wrestler Lex Luger and a short while back she passed away of a drug overdose.
Elizabeth Huelete, aka "Miss Elizabeth", passed away in 2003. She had been living with former WCW and WWF star Lex Luger at the time of her death. Like so many others, she also had her demons that, unfortunately, she was never able to overcome.
Shut up idiot.
I am a veteran.
That Eddie died was news to me.
And I am saddened by his death.
Had nothing to do with 11/11, which was veterans day.
