I wasn't going to reply to the author if this thread; however, the constant lies he told, on this thread, got to me. For the benefit of those who know nothing of the history of the matter, I took it upon myself to break my silence and post what I did.

and this is no attempt to start a flame war. (In fact I will not even respond to flame wars based on the fact I'm on probation here and they are simply a waste of time that can be put to better and more important posts.) On which side do you stand on the Gun Rights issue?

It is heartening to see FReepers at their best. And shining light on the actual facts of any given matter is something FReepers do well.

In fact you deserve thanks far more then me for your show of your passion for the truth, and willingness to stand up to defend it. After all, you are the one with the battle tested pen in here, not me.
