Catch them and drop them at the farm. NOT my farm, please. Far too many people do this already. Just because people live on a farm it is not reasonable to expect them to be any happier to deal with feral/abandoned cats than you are. We already have as many cats as we can possibly accomodate. They are an expense for neutering and feeding and veterinary care. Either take care of them yourself ... or find some other way to dispose of them. Do not drop them at a farm where they are not wanted.

Not my farm; I know. I grew up in dairy country and people dropped off kittens all the time. Granted, it got crowded in the barns sometimes, but the cats took care of themselves as well as the rats.
I'd never drop them off, but if she had no alternative, it's better than death. The cats will survive on their own.
Frankly, in her situation I'd leave them be, and I told her so, but I'm not her.
