That, my FRiend, is why it is called FISHING and not CATCHING!!!!
We usually go surf fishing and I generally just catch some rays and a buzz :) But put me in a boat - and I be catchin'!!!!
Hubby is chomping at the bit for the wind to die down because he wants to take advantage of the rockfish running and take our friend's boat (which we are storing for the winter) out a couple more times before the cold sets in.
My two area Wal-Marts likewise have the same signs. There is a display of Holiday Gift Card of every kind imaginable and each day they have a #of days until Christmas on all 4 sides of it.
Wal-Mart is too big to give a rats @ss what some leftist weiney's say.
yeah.....
my wife saw that stand and I KNOW I will be dragged back to it at some point in the next 3 weeks :)
hey man...they blocked that picture :)
Hey, I always check the clearance/reduced for quick sale aisle at Wal-mart. I found a chainsaw for $13.00 a few years ago. It still works great, and there's nothing more empowering to a frumpy housefrau than a chain saw.
My missus says I'm dangerous near chainsaws.
I am banned from yardwork due to my malignant talent for unintended destruction.
(About the only thing I do right yardwork wise is care for roses..)
Jeez... I just wanted to steal a little bandwidth.
A Walmart flyer just came in my mailbox.
On the front page it says: "Home for the Holidays"
I have checked all 32 pages. I cannot find the word "Christmas" mentioned even once.
Even the Christmas tree section has no mention of the word Christmas. The cards they show are holiday cards.
The message I hear is loud and clear: Do your Christmas shopping here. We want your money but not your values.
GO to a WalMart.
You will see Christmas prominently displayed EVERYWHERE in the store.
Bill O'Reilly did a section on the anti-Christmas greeting at Walmart, Cosco, Target and some other low price store. Apparently it is just the greeting that Walmart has banned.

8:55 a.m.: Wal-Mart issued a press release, aimed at clearing up rumors that the retailer had been telling its associates to avoid using the phrase "Merry Christmas" in stores, in order to be more religiously sensitive and politically correct. "We encourage associates to use their best judgment when greeting our customers and to assess which greeting -- or greetings -- best suit the customers
We want our stores to reflect the communities they serve," Wal-Mart spokeswoman Sarah Clark said. "If 'Merry Christmas' is the preferred greeting, that is fine and appropriate. Or, some associates may choose to say 'Happy Holidays,' which may be more inclusive."
Funny, it didn't appear that way in the WalMart near where I live, but then again, I guess I am just not sensitive enough to notice EVERY slight.
