Please accept my apology. To hit the nerve of a lovely wife is a disgrace, and you must know it was entirely unintentional.

Have you read some of the responses on here? Popcorn mixed with blueberries, smoked oysters (served cold), cottage cheese and olives, spicy Mexican food, beer.....

Without question. I like my cereal floating in a liter of vodka. Champagne for the kids though, it might really cause a stink if they went to kindergarten reeking of vodka.

Loud second for your view on raisins. The local diner in my neighborhood makes a decent stuffing but they put golden raisins in it. They make a good bread pudding but they put raisins in that too.

Yuck! What kind of person do you have to be to haphazardly mix raisins into everything? Does he put apples and walnuts on the tuna fish sandwiches? The cook needs to be stopped before things get out of hand. He's obviously a madman. What's next, chocolate bars served swimming in ketchup?

My favorite breakfast is beer, tomato juice, and raw eggs, in a 24 oz. mug.

Coffee is first however.

Lebanon bologna and creme cheese sandwich.

It's sort of a cult/stealth food addiction here in almost Pennsylvania. Really good.

I don't eat bologna as a rule of thumb but that sounds pretty good. This morning smells like fried chicken at the Jaysun compound. Pardon me for a while.....

Vodka (the good ones anyway) is the least smelly of the boozes. But there is still some odor, especially if consumed in mass quantities.

I have not tried rice like this. My mother and I used to eat regular white bread torn up in a bowl with sugar and milk all the time. It was good. It was usually a late night meal.

You are quite normal. The best breakfast in the world is cold or room temperature pizza. I always get plenty of extra pizza so as to have some for breakfast and take for lunch the next day.

Pizza isn't the only thing I have for breakfast. I essentially eat dinner twice a day. I had fried chicken this morning. But I do feel quite normal after some of the replies I've received. There's some real circus freaks out there. I mean, come on, catfish and peaches?

I don't know Granny. Your question prompted me to do a little experiment to find out. Unfortunately, Colonel Smith and Captain Wesson (our dogs) apparently can't hold their liquor and wouldn't let anyone get close enough to compare their breaths.

I'll wait until Monday, soak the boys in vodka until they're seeing double, and send them off to school. I'll report my findings back to you then.

Well this is a circus freak world. We only think there are "normal breakfast foods" such as eggs, cereal, etc. because it has been presented to us all our lives on tv and advertisements. Just think if people were just living and making their own decisions without the influence of Madison Avenue. When I was a kid in the cold winter time a great breakfast was a bowl of Campbell's vegetable soup and toast. And now I just love a full egg-bacon or sausage-pancake type breakfast for supper. Lately I've been having oatmeal for supper almost every week night because it is easy and good.

From what I understand the current idea of "breakfast foods" started taking shape after Mr. Kellog invented corn flakes. Prior to that people ate things like beans, fish, corn, etc.
