WESTON, Mass. --The son of Boston Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy was charged with beating up his girlfriend.
Jared Remy, 27, was arrested Monday at his father's home in Weston and charged with assault and battery and resisting arrest. Police said Jerry Remy wasn't home at the time.
Police in Waltham, where Jared Remy lives, said he grabbed his girlfriend by the hair, threw her to the ground, threw a cell phone at her and kicked her in the back, stomach and face. He also allegedly punched her in the eye and hit her in the stomach.
"She tried to call police and he grabbed the phone away," Detective Sgt. Tim King told the Daily News Tribune of Waltham.

In the prison hierarchy, I can't imagine that a woman-beater that hides from the police in his father's house will rate very high.
Nah. Curt's ankle wouldn't hold up, Trot would want to drive his kids to school, Tek would fight with his mask and glove on, and Timlin wouldn't be able to do anything if anybody else had gotten a hit in! ;)
hah hah hah, that's funny.
Now if this was someone in the Yankees family
A-Rod would slap him like a woman after preening in front of the mirror with Jeter for 2 hours
Sheffield would claim it was a black thing
Giambi would have Conseco shoot him in (up?) the ass before doing anything
I'm pretty sure Jerry is also trying to get a "Remdawg" hotdog joint franchise going.
LOL... ;-)
