Practical Joke #6
Friend of mine was getting married. Her future husband had a reputation of being cheap. We played on this when I phone pranked him after his wedding invitations went out. His wife called him and conferenced me in. I used a hispanic accent. The actually called lasted a bit longer that what is shown here but here is the jest of the conversation:
June: "Ward, this is June. Something is wrong with the invitiations. I have Alberto from the post office on the phone with me.
Alberto: Hello? Mr. Ward? I call to say that your invitations come back postage due.
Ward: "What??"
Alberto: Yes, postage due. I need you to come down to post office with $75 and will get them sent out again.
Ward: How did this happen?
Alberto: I don't know. You just need to come down and bring $100 and well put a stamp on them and send them back out.
Ward: A stamp? What kind of stamp?
Alberto: A red one... a big read one
Ward: S%#&!
(June is heard in the background. Ward thinks she is crying but she is actually trying to hold back the laughter)
Alberto: Yes, yes, a big red stamp. Bring $125 in a brown paper bag to the backdoor of the post office...
Ward: Max! F^%@# you! (hangs up)

Working....Now I can talk...
My GOOD news is that the nursing home I consult in with a bunch of tags (6 in dietary) had state come in and they're back in compliance!!
I've been on pins and needles for 3 weeks. But the best part was the thank you from the staff. I may lack a dirt gene, but I can tell people what to do to fix things.
Ok, thats all. :)
