Michael Jackson May Not Live in U.S. Again

NEW YORK - Michael Jackson will come back to the United States, but it's unlikely the King of Pop would ever make it his home again, says his father.

"He'll come back to visit, but not to stay, not to live," Joseph Jackson told The Associated Press in a recent interview.

Jackson said his son, who was acquitted in June of child molestation, has received lots of threats in the United States. The superstar now lives in Bahrain and his lawyers have said that he no longer considers his Neverland Ranch in California as his home.

"They didn't treat him right here. I know if I was him, I wouldn't come back," his father said.

However, the elder Jackson said he expects Michael to return to his music career _ and hopes it would include a reunion with his brothers.

"I'm trying to motivate them to go ahead and do this record," he said of his other sons. "They want to do it, but they're too slow. They'd rather do it with Michael."

Michael Jackson is working on a charity single for hurricane relief with stars such as R. Kelly and Snoop Dogg.

Dream on, Joe.

Maybe it's money-related? Banking/tax laws? I admit I haven't a clue what the attraction is for living in Bahrain

Bahrain is an island off the coast of Saudi Arabia that has used its physical isolation to create a 'sharia free zone'. It's basically the Las Vegas of the Middle East. Alcohol, nightclubs, scantily clad women, the works. Safe, clean, and basically only lip service played to Islam. With the kind of money the Emir of Pop has, he'll be above the law.

It's actually a pretty shrewd move. Bahrain is a relatively nice and modern place. The goverment will treat him like royalty, since he'll be great for tourism. His goons will be able to discourage paparazzi a lot more effectively. Local society there will be able to provide for his, um, other interests, without any social stigma. For a person in his position, I can't really think of a better place to go and start over.

Well that makes a lot of sense. Apparently they're happy to shelter child molesters? Maybe we ought to pack up all the offenders in the US and export them over to Bahrain.

If we could pack them all up and send them anywhere, my first choice would be North Korea. But, to stay with Michael Jackson's Middle East theme, I'd send them to Saudi Arabia. Those that take an interest in young girls will be stoned to death. Those that take an interest in young boys will be fine, until they get kidnapped and beheaded for being infidels. Talk about win/win!

We no longer rid ourselves of the former wide reciever of the Philadelphia Eagles than this freakazoid shows up again. Just pack your things, move to Bahrain, and STFU. We no longer need MJ here to pollute the environment. BTW, what is the punishment for pedophilia in Bahrain?

First and foremost in that little pervert's mind are 1) extradition treaties and 2) bribable cops/judges/prosecutors.

What kind of jury and trial does he think he's going to get in Bahrain when he's caught molesting little boys there?

Dumb move for Jacko. He's not going to get any judicial "home cooking" outside of California.
